Star prop Stefano Utoikamanu has been given permission by the Wests Tigers to explore his market value. The 24-year-old New South Wales representative is currently under contract with the club until the conclusion of the 2025 season. Despite recent speculation about his future, Utoikamanu is now free to engage in discussions with other clubs.
Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson expressed optimism about Utoikamanu remaining with the club, stating, “We’ve had productive discussions with Stefano, his partner Chiara, and his management. We all want what’s best for him and his family.” Richardson clarified, “While Stefano has not indicated a desire to leave, he wishes to explore his options, and we fully support his decision.”
