Star West Coast defender Tom Barrass has dismissed rumors suggesting he might leave the Eagles, affirming his intention to remain a one-club player.

Speaking to media in Perth, the 28-year-old expressed confidence in the emerging talent at West Coast and his excitement for the team’s future ambitions.

“I don’t pay attention to media or social media speculation; I usually find out when I’m in front of you guys,” Barrass said regarding the ongoing trade rumors. “It’s an annual occurrence and not something I dwell on. AFL clubs pursuing established key players is just part of the game.”

“I am committed to West Coast unless circumstances change drastically. I’m enthusiastic about our ongoing progress and the potential of our squad,” he added.

With his contract extending until 2027, Barrass’ comments should reassure Eagles fans amidst speculation about his future, despite interest from other clubs.
