Four-star linebacker recruit Christian Gass has narrowed his college choices down to three teams ahead of his commitment announcement on July 20. Standing at 6-foot-2, Gass is part of the 2025 recruiting class.

Gass has focused his interest on Tennessee, Georgia, and USC as his final options. He received an offer from USC in December 2023 and completed visits to all three schools in June, including USC on June 7. According to 247Sports, Gass has also garnered offers from several other programs such as Kentucky, Florida, Auburn, Baylor, Cincinnati, Colorado, Kansas, and Ole Miss.

Georgia presents an attractive option for Gass, particularly due to its proximity and formidable defense, which has recently clinched consecutive national championships.

Hailing from Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia, Gass showcased his skills on the field with 68 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble in the 2023 season. He is also active in track at Eastside.

For USC, securing Gass would be a significant boost in recruiting, especially following recent setbacks in Georgia. Earlier this summer, the Trojans faced disappointment when two five-star defensive recruits, Isaiah Gibson and Justus Terry, both de-committed within a 24-hour period.

Currently, USC boasts 13 commitments in the class of 2025, including four four-star recruits. The recruitment of Gass remains a pivotal focus for the Trojans as they aim to strengthen their roster under new head coach Lincoln Riley.
