As the Chicago Bulls gear up for training camp, they have already started revamping their roster, yet several players still find themselves at the center of trade speculation. While much of the summer buzz has centered around Zach LaVine and the complexities surrounding his contract, the two-time All-Star isn’t the only player on the trading block. Other names, such as Torrey Craig and Nikola Vucevic, have also been linked to various trade rumors.

In a recent piece, Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report highlighted Torrey Craig as a potential trade target for the Boston Celtics. Swartz pointed out that Craig, who is in the final year of his contract earning $2.8 million, could be a valuable asset for the Celtics. “Craig is another dependable veteran with a tradable contract,” Swartz wrote. “At 33 years old, he averaged 5.7 points and 4.1 rebounds last season, while shooting 39.2 percent from three-point range. Given the Bulls’ rebuilding phase, he might be available.

Last season, Craig played in 53 games for the Bulls, including 14 starts, and had a solid performance during his seventh NBA season. His experience extends beyond the regular season, as he has participated in 75 career postseason games, including a notable NBA Finals appearance with the Phoenix Suns in 2021.

The Celtics, who have been actively building their roster with a focus on versatile wings, could benefit from adding the 6-foot-7 Craig. His experience and skill set would fit well into the Celtics’ lineup, providing them with additional depth and a proven player who has a track record of postseason success. If Craig becomes available, he would have the opportunity to contribute to a Celtics team aiming to make a deep playoff run, an opportunity he has experienced in five of his seven NBA seasons.
