The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up to host the Washington Commanders in their season opener at Raymond James Stadium this Sunday at 4:25 pm. However, the team is facing some challenges with their defensive line due to injuries.
Defensive lineman Logan Hall has been declared “OUT” for the game following a foot injury sustained earlier in the week. On Saturday, the Buccaneers further downgraded defensive lineman Calijah Kancey from “QUESTIONABLE” to “OUT” due to a calf injury that occurred during practice on Friday.
In response to these setbacks, the Buccaneers have activated defensive linemen C.J. Brewer and Mike Greene from the practice squad. This move makes both players available for Sunday’s match against the Washington Commanders. The team’s website confirms these changes, noting that Kancey’s calf injury has led to his removal from the lineup for the season opener.
