According to a Saturday morning report from Hayes Fawcett of On3, former Washington State cornerback Stephen Hall has officially transferred to Missouri.

Hall marks the first transfer portal addition for the Tigers since their 27-24 victory over Iowa in the Music City Bowl. He also becomes Missouri’s first cornerback transfer commitment.

Hall spent three years at Northwest Mississippi Community College, earning a spot on the All-Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference North Division first team after his third season. He later transferred to Washington State, where he accumulated 70 tackles (seven for loss) and four passes defended in two seasons. In the 2024 season opener, he returned his lone interception 100 yards for a touchdown against Portland State and followed that with 11 tackles (one for loss) in a 37-16 victory over Texas Tech.

The 6-foot, 195-pound Memphis, Tennessee native was ranked No. 674 overall and No. 71 cornerback in the transfer portal, according to On3.

Following the recent ruling on Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia, which stated that junior college years do not count against NCAA eligibility, Hall could have either two or just one year of eligibility left.

Hall joins a cornerback group at Mizzou that will return all three starters—Dreyden Norwood, Toriano Pride Jr., and Nicholas DeLoach. While all three are expected to improve next season, Hall brings much-needed depth and competition to a position that struggled in 2024.

Hall is the 14th transfer to join Mizzou’s class and the seventh on the defensive side.

DB Jaren Sensabaugh Enters Transfer Portal

Mizzou defensive back Jaren Sensabaugh announced via X on Saturday that he has entered the transfer portal. Sensabaugh, a former four-star recruit, retained his redshirt after playing only six snaps for the Tigers in 2024, all during the season opener against Murray State.

A Nashville native, Sensabaugh decommitted from Vanderbilt in November 2023 and committed to Mizzou shortly thereafter. He will have four years of eligibility remaining and becomes the 11th Mizzou player and sixth from the Class of 2024 to enter the portal this cycle.

Wide Receiver Marquis Johnson and Safety Daylan Carnell to Return

Sophomore wide receiver Marquis Johnson and redshirt junior safety Daylan Carnell confirmed on X that they will return to Mizzou next season.

Johnson has emerged as a key deep threat in his two seasons with the Tigers. He finished the 2024 season with 25 receptions for 352 yards and one touchdown, including a standout performance with seven catches for 122 yards and a touchdown in the Music City Bowl. With the departure of several receivers, including Luther Burden III and Mookie Cooper, Johnson and Mississippi State transfer Kevin Coleman Jr. are expected to be pivotal in the Tigers’ passing game next season.

Carnell, a two-year starter, had a strong 2024 season, recording 51 tackles (23 solo, five for loss), seven passes defended, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. Over four seasons with the Tigers, he has accumulated 133 tackles, 24 passes defended, four interceptions, three sacks, and two touchdowns.

Cooper Williams Returning to FSU as Assistant OL Coach

According to a report from Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 247Sports, Florida State has hired Mizzou graduate assistant Cooper Williams as its new assistant offensive line coach.

Williams, who worked with Mizzou’s offensive line this past season, previously spent three years with Florida State before returning to his alma mater. He played under FSU coach Mike Norvell at Memphis from 2014-2016, before moving into coaching roles at both Memphis and Florida State.
