Notre Dame’s momentum on the recruiting trail continues to surge as the program adds another major piece to its 2026 blueprint.

Massive offensive line prospect Grayson McKeogh, a towering figure out of Glenside, Pennsylvania, has pledged to suit up in South Bend. The 6-foot-8, 285-pound standout had narrowed his choices to Texas, Penn State, and the Irish before making his decision public.

Hayes Fawcett of On3 broke the news, with McKeogh stating, “All glory to God. Go Irish ☘️”

The timing couldn’t be better for Marcus Freeman, who hosted McKeogh on an official trip over the weekend. That visit made a strong impression on the lineman, who cited the locker room environment and campus atmosphere as key reasons behind his decision.

“I just knew this was the right spot,” McKeogh shared with On3. “The people within the program align with who I am and who I want to be around. They reflect values I believe in. Plus, the reputation of the school—both in football and in academics—speaks for itself.”

What separated Notre Dame, according to McKeogh, was the sense of heritage and connection radiating from players and coaches alike.

“The culture stood out from start to finish,” he explained. “The energy, the pride, the commitment—they were all on display. Coach Freeman and Coach Rudolph have a clear plan for how I can grow under their guidance, and I believe I can thrive among the guys they’re bringing in.”

Listed as the 20th-best tackle in his class by 247Sports Composite, McKeogh adds to a strong haul that now includes 17 verbal commitments. The Irish class currently holds the No. 3 spot nationally and appears to be trending even higher as summer unfolds.
