Kansas Offers Top-10 2027 Prospect Bruce Branch III

Continuing its aggressive push on the recruiting trail, Kansas extended an offer to 2027 standout Bruce Branch III on Friday night. The 6-foot-7 wing from Prolific Prep ranks as the No. 10 overall prospect and No. 5 small forward in the country, per 247 Sports.

Branch boasts a strong blend of length, athleticism, and skill, using long strides to attack downhill or create separation with smooth deceleration. He thrives in transition, finishing put-backs, running the floor, and even handling the ball to create opportunities for himself and others.

With a reliable jumper off the catch and dribble, Branch is a threat from midrange and deep, adding polish to an already advanced offensive skill set. While he’ll need to continue adding strength, the upside is evident with two full high school seasons still ahead.

Branch already holds 20 Division I offers, including from top-tier programs like Houston, Tennessee, Arizona, and UCLA.

This offer further signals Bill Self’s expanded recruiting focus, with Kansas recently offering multiple top-tier prospects from both the 2027 and 2028 classes, including the nation’s No. 1 player in 2027. The Jayhawks are clearly investing early in the future of college basketball.
