Four-Star WR Kesean Bowman Planning Fall Visit to Oregon, Still Weighing Top Options

Class of 2027 four-star wide receiver Kesean Bowman is planning a visit to Autzen Stadium this fall to watch the Oregon Ducks in action. The elite in-state prospect will also take game-day visits to Ohio Stadium to see the Ohio State Buckeyes and to Neyland Stadium to check out the Tennessee Volunteers. Other major programs still in the hunt include the Ole Miss Rebels, Georgia Bulldogs, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Colorado Buffaloes.

Ranked as the No. 47 overall recruit nationally, the No. 7 wide receiver, and the No. 2 player in Tennessee, Bowman is a rising star from Brentwood Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 160 pounds, he put up impressive numbers as a sophomore, recording 56 receptions for 1,023 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Bowman previously visited Eugene in the spring and came away impressed, telling On3’s Max Torres:

“I like the Ducks a lot. With it being my first time, they made a big impression on me. I’ve always liked Oregon since I was little, so that also plays a huge role in it. I would say they’re pretty high up on my list right now.”

Bowman also praised the coaching staff, especially wide receivers coach Ross Douglas, for creating a welcoming environment:

“I just enjoyed being around the coaches. They just show a lot of love. Treated me and Pops well. Just made sure they had a connection with you. And just keep building relationships. I’d say the facilities have everything a player needs — recovery, workouts, meetings, even hanging out with your teammates.”

Douglas is aggressively recruiting top-tier talent at the position. Oregon has already secured a commitment from four-star WR Messiah Hampton and is also pursuing five-star Calvin Russell, who commits on July 5, and four-star Jalen Lott, who announces on July 8 — both from the 2026 class.

Bowman plans to announce his commitment in August.

Ducks Building a Strong 2026 Class

Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class already includes:

  • QB Bryson Beaver (3-star, No. 18 at position)

  • TE Kendre Harrison (4-star, No. 16 nationally)

  • S Jett Washington (5-star, No. 50 nationally)

  • RB Tradarian Ball (4-star, No. 153 nationally)

Despite losing five-star QB Ryder Lyons to BYU, Oregon’s 2026 class ranks No. 11 nationally in On3’s team rankings, just behind Michigan (No. 10) and ahead of schools like Florida State and Penn State.

In the Big Ten recruiting rankings, Oregon sits at No. 4, trailing USC (No. 1), Ohio State (No. 2), and Michigan (No. 3).

As the fall visits approach, all eyes will be on Bowman’s decision — and the Ducks are in strong position to make a lasting impression.
