LSU football secured its third commitment in a week on Friday with the addition of four-star offensive lineman Bryson Cooley.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound tackle announced his pledge via social media. Ranked No. 299 overall in the 2026 class by the 247Sports Composite, Cooley plays at West Jones High School in Laurel, Mississippi, and had also drawn interest from programs like Alabama and Mississippi State.

Cooley joins fellow linemen Brysten Martinez, a top-100 prospect, and four-star Emanuel Tucker in LSU’s 2026 recruiting class.

With Cooley on board, LSU now has 13 total commitments for 2026, including recent additions like three-star cornerback Dezyrian Ellis and top-100 edge rusher Trenton Henderson.

This marks LSU’s third commitment from the state of Mississippi in this cycle, following Tucker and five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys—the No. 3 overall player nationally.

The Tigers, currently ranked No. 11 in the national class rankings by 247Sports, could see another big addition soon with five-star defensive lineman Lamar Brown set to announce his decision next week.
