Ranked as one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the 2025 class, Russell had been firmly committed to Alabama since early spring. But after a strong late push from Arkansas offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino and head coach Sam Pittman, the 6’3″, 185-pound standout reconsidered his path.
