Spice Girls Tease 2026 Reunion Tour—But Not Everyone’s On Board Yet
The legendary English pop group Spice Girls are reportedly gearing up for a spectacular reunion tour in 2026 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Spice. Fans across the globe are buzzing with anticipation but there’s a twist. Not all the original members are ready to return to the spotlight just yet.
The iconic five-piece band—Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Melanie C, and Emma Bunton—last released a single, Goodbye, in 2000 before going on an indefinite hiatus. Since then, several reunion attempts have surfaced, with some members participating in selective tours and others, like Beckham, keeping their distance.
In a recent episode of No Filter with Kate Langbroek, Melanie C confirmed that plans are in motion for a major comeback. “Next year is a big year for us, and we have to acknowledge it in some way,” she said. “Emma and I would be back on stage in a heartbeat. But sometimes, other people need a little more convincing.”

Though she didn’t name names, many fans speculate that Victoria Beckham—who has largely distanced herself from the group in favor of her fashion empire—may be the most hesitant about returning.
But creative disagreements aren’t the only hurdle. Sources close to the group hint at deeper issues behind the scenes, including lingering tension from past fallouts, scheduling conflicts due to family and business obligations, and uncertainty over how to modernize the group’s brand for a new generation of fans.
“There’s a lot of love between us,” Mel C added, “but pulling something this big together takes more than just nostalgia—it takes time, commitment, and compromise.”
Despite the uncertainty, the group remains hopeful. Talks are reportedly ongoing, and fans are crossing their fingers for a full-scale reunion, possibly with new music, international tour dates, and a proper tribute to the girl power legacy they created three decades ago.
One thing’s for sure: the world still really, really wants to see them back on stage—together.
