It’s been less than a month since the college baseball offseason market opened, yet Jim Schlossnagle and his team in Austin have already compiled a standout group of incoming talent.
Even if activity were to stop today, the new arrivals would still be considered among the top classes assembled ahead of the 2026 campaign.
Fortunately for the program in burnt orange, their momentum hasn’t slowed. On Wednesday, their roster grew even deeper. As reported by Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball, Texas has added Seton Hall standout Aiden Robbins through the transfer process.
Robbins first turned heads in 2024 with an impressive debut season, putting together a .302 average, driving in 34, hitting six long balls, and swiping 11 bags. But it was his second year that truly elevated his stock.
In 2025, the Seton Hall outfielder became one of the most feared hitters in the Big East, slashing .422/.537/.652 and earning First Team All-Conference honors. He also paced his squad in total knocks (86), bases-on-balls (44), and steals (20), while adding six homers and 38 RBI to his résumé.
Robbins has proven himself both as a reliable contact hitter and an on-base machine—dangerous not only in the batter’s box but also as a basepath threat once aboard.
This marks the fifth notable addition via the transfer wire for the Longhorns this cycle, with Josh Livingston (Wichita State), Jack Moroknek (Butler), Kaleb Freeman (Georgia State), and Luke Dotson (Mississippi State) already in the fold.
Schlossnagle has made it clear he’s not easing off the gas. With a drive to reshape and upgrade his lineup heading into 2026, further movement in the transfer space appears all but certain.
