The Indianapolis Colts have announced that starting defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle) and edge rusher Laiatu Latu (hip) will not return for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, according to The Athletic’s James Boyd.
Buckner, who has been managing a back injury, was already on a restricted play count during the game, so it seems this ankle issue is a new, in-game injury.
Additionally, it’s uncertain if star running back Jonathan Taylor is dealing with an undisclosed injury, as he missed a crucial third down and sat out another offensive series.
Currently, the Indianapolis Colts are trailing by two scores late in the fourth quarter at Lambeau Field and have struggled to play effectively, highlighting their challenging situation.
