ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Dolphins are adding OLB Tyus Bowser from the Seahawks’ practice squad to their active roster.
Miami is seeking help in the pass rush, especially with OLB Jaelan Phillips out for the season due to a knee injury.
Bowser, 29, was a second-round draft pick by the Ravens in 2017. He completed the final year of a four-year, $5.575 million contract that included $3.378 million guaranteed, marking his first experience in free agency.
He returned to the Ravens on a four-year, $22 million deal but was released before the final year, which included a base salary of $5.5 million for 2023. After training camp in 2024, Bowser joined the Seahawks’ practice squad and was elevated to the active roster twice.
In the 2024 season, Bowser has played in two games for the Seahawks, recording one tackle.
