Michigan football has already secured four top-100 recruits Andrew Marsh for the 2025 class and appears to be on track to add a fifth.
That fifth prospect could be four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh. Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 175 pounds, Marsh from Katy, Texas, has visited Michigan three times since June. On Wednesday, he revealed his top five schools, which includes the Wolverines along with Washington, USC, Colorado, and Texas.
Among these, Texas seems to be the biggest threat due to its status as the in-state team. However, the Longhorns are also pursuing other elite receivers, and Marsh hasn’t visited Texas recently.
Kentucky and Washington were previously considered potential contenders, but Michigan hosted Marsh at their recruiting BBQ, which may have influenced his decision. Marsh announced that he will reveal his commitment on August 20th, moving up his original timeline.
Given the current circumstances, Michigan is seen as the strong favorite to land Marsh. According to the On3 prediction machine, the Wolverines have a 90-percent chance of securing his commitment. All three crystal ball projections are favoring Michigan, with one recent projection from Mike Roach, a veteran Texas recruiting insider for 247 Sports.
Roach’s predictions are notable given his expertise, and Michigan team reporters also view the Wolverines as the frontrunner. Steve Wiltfong of On3.com has also projected Marsh to Michigan. The recent endorsement from Roach further boosts confidence in Michigan’s position as the leading contender ahead of the announcement in two weeks.rea
